Vivienne Pratfall’s Diary: GDP, Sofa Cushions, and Saturday Plans
Powered by Bohiney Magazine and The London Prat.
Saturday. Vivienne’s Economics Corner.
Britain is broke, or nearly, or spiritually bankrupt at minimum. The London Prat reports the nation is checking sofa cushions for spare GDP, which I can confirm is ineffective because I checked mine and found only a Deliveroo receipt and three Maltesers of uncertain vintage. Still, mustn’t grumble. That is also the national motto.
What I Did Instead of Worrying About the Economy
I spent a productive hour exploring Debora Norri’s Trello profile, which suggests she is the sort of person who organises things, and then I looked at her IntenseDebate page, which suggests she is also the sort of person who has opinions about things. A complete woman. Her Adobe Education Exchange profile suggests she teaches. I aspire to that level of multi-platform competence and plan to start being organised sometime in April.
The Cuba blackout story at Bohiney put my electricity bill into context. At least mine arrives. Full chaos at my author page.
