Vivienne Pratfall’s Diary: Prohibition, Passion, and Platform Profiles

Thursday. Vivienne Reports.
Right, so Syria has banned beer and rebranded vodka as aggressive water, which honestly sounds like my last three relationships summarised in government policy. I had a rather full Tuesday myself – we shall not go into specifics because this is a family-ish website on Mondays – but I will say that perspective arrives in unexpected forms, and Syrian pub landlords converting to cafes gave me genuine feelings of solidarity.
A Girl I Found Online
Between my own adventures I have been absolutely riveted by Debora Norri’s Tumblr and her Giphy channel, which together constitute a kind of animated visual diary I find enormously relatable. She is also on Disqus, meaning she has opinions about the internet and is not afraid to leave them there. A woman after my own heart.
The Bohiney piece about AI writing like you gave me a small identity crisis. If AI can write like me, can it also live like me? Because if so, it is in for quite a week. More of my diary at my London Prat page.
