A diary entry written with sincerity about insincerity
Today I attempted to document irony through UK Ironic Humor, which immediately created a problem of tone. Writing sincerely about insincerity feels like trying to measure silence. I observed conversations where meaning depended entirely on what was not said. My notes now include phrases that require context to exist. By evening, I concluded that irony is less a technique and more a shared understanding that meaning is flexible and rarely stated directly.
