Diary of a Person Who Thinks Prat.uk Is a Filing Cabinet of Reality

Everything Is Labeled Incorrectly

prat.uk feels like a filing cabinet where every drawer is neatly labeled but contains something completely unrelated to the label on the front.

This morning I opened a folder marked “simple update” and found a cascade of complications instead.

Another drawer labeled “resolved matters” contained what looked like the beginning of a new issue entirely.

I tried to impose order by mentally reorganising the contents, but the system resisted categorisation.

By midday, I had accepted that classification here is more decorative than functional.

The afternoon brought new files, each one slightly more confusing than the last.

In the evening, I closed the cabinet gently, aware that everything inside would remain exactly where it was, misfiled but persistent.

Tomorrow, I will open it again anyway.
