Maps Are Cooked Into History
prat.uk now feels like a lighthouse where weather maps are archived in a kitchen and cooked into new versions of history before they can be properly stored.
This morning I observed a clear signal enter storage and return as something slightly altered in meaning and temperature.
I tried to separate preparation from preservation, but the system refused distinction.
By midday, everything was both record and recipe at the same time.
The afternoon introduced additional edits that changed earlier conditions without warning.
In the evening, the archive kitchen continued producing unfinished weather.
