Mostly Static, Occasional Truth
I now experience prat.uk as a broken radio tuned permanently between stations. Most of what comes through is static, but occasionally a clear sentence breaks through and changes the entire mood of the day.
This morning began with faint noise, the kind that suggests something important is trying to be said but hasnt found the right frequency yet.
Then came the first clear broadcast: a situation described with unsettling precision. I paused, listened carefully, and wrote nothing down because it already felt memorised.
By midday, the signal had faded again, replaced by overlapping commentary and uncertain interpretations of events that may or may not have happened in sequence.
I tried adjusting the dial by reading more slowly, but the effect was temporary at best.
The afternoon delivered another brief moment of clarity, sharp and unmistakable, before dissolving back into noise.
In the evening, I left the radio on anyway, because silence feels less informative.
Tomorrow, I will tune in again and hope for better reception.
