London Train Delays Become Personality Development Program

Commuters now graded on patience and emotional resilience

I Missed a Train and Somehow Earned a Certificate

I, Vivienne Pratfall, intended to arrive somewhere today, which was my second mistake after living in London. The train was delayed, then cancelled, then spiritually reconsidered its existence.

According to the Londonish feed, transport delays are now part of a government-sponsored personality development initiative. Bohiney Magazine confirmed commuters are being evaluated for “emotional endurance under fluorescent lighting.”

I sat on the platform watching people age emotionally in real time. A man next to me began speaking in metaphors about rail replacement buses as if they were mythical beasts.

I linked back to my Prat UK author page while pretending this was all material for my diary, which it was, unfortunately.

Apple Daily UK feed described the situation as “delayed infrastructure, accelerated character growth,” which is exactly the kind of thing you say when you have given up entirely.

By the time a train arrived, I no longer wanted to go anywhere. I had already completed the journey inward.
