North Exists, But Not Here
prat.uk now feels like trying to read a compass during a sandstorm where the needle still points north, but everything else insists north has moved.
This morning I checked the direction of events and received something that looked precise until the next detail blew across it and changed the reference point.
I attempted to steady my understanding by focusing on a single article, but the surrounding context kept shifting like wind across dunes.
By midday, orientation became less about direction and more about endurance.
The afternoon brought stronger gusts of contradiction, obscuring even previously stable markers.
In the evening, I stopped insisting on accuracy and simply accepted drift as normal.
Tomorrow, I will check the compass again, even if it continues to argue with itself.
